Note: For live TV streaming over a 3G connection, Elgato’s Turbo.264 HD is
recommended.

BETTER LIVE 3G STREAMING WITH THE TURBO.264 HD

When using the EyeTV app to stream live TV over a 3G connection to an iPad, we highly recommend that you connect the optional Elgato Turbo.264 HD hardware encoder/accelerator to your Mac. Turbo.264 HD gives you the best possible viewing experience and eliminates stuttering when your network connection gets weak; it automatically adjusts the bit rate of the video delivered to your iPhone and iPad whenever the connection signal fluctuates. This is especially valuable when streaming to the higher resolution screen of the iPad.

EYETV NETSTREAM SUPPORT

Connect EyeTV for iPhone directly to an EyeTV Netstream tuner to watch live TV on your iPad! Enjoy superfast channel surfing. This feature requires an iPad, iPhone 4, or iPod touch 4th generation running iOS4, and a local 802.11n Wi-Fi network. You need a Mac or PC to install EyeTV Netstream, but you don’t need to keep your computer turned on to watch live TV.

Note: Direct connection to EyeTV Netstream is available only for MPEG-2 standard definition television signals, and is not supported outside the local Wi-Fi network.
